Warwick Introduces New Spa Facilities
With the opening of its $500,000 spa, the Warwick Fiji Resort has changed its name to reflect its expanded international facilities. It will now be known as the Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa. Warwick resort manager Jack Stark said that the new spa was of the highest quality. "We have brought the best in Fijian design and integrated it into an open-concept design to provide an environment that is truly relaxing. "There are three massage rooms with relaxation pools, a full sauna, body-scrub room, with full manicure and pedicure services." In addition to its new spa, the resort has renovated its fitness centre at a cost of $350,000. "We have fully air-conditioned the gym. We have introduced the latest in body-conditioning equipment and have employed a qualified personal fitness instructor to help guests with their training needs," said Mr Stark. He said that the new additions, including refurbishments of the guest rooms and the public areas to the Warwick, supported its commitment to provide a total quality vacation experience. "In many ways we are a new Warwick with a major upgrading of all our facilities as well as the introduction of the new spa. "Once our guests experience the new Spa facilities they will fully understand why we have changed the name to the Warwick Fiji Resort and Spa. (Source: Fiji Times 10/05/2006)
